Jen Patton

Easy Going, Loyal, Consiliant, and Sanguine

When someone asks me "What kind of design work do you do?" My answer is usually, "Yes?"
I find that each varied experience has built a strong design foundation that strengthens my understanding for any kind of project I tackle. Whether it's graphics, audio visual, user experience, program design and management, or marketing and communications, I'm fascinated by the networked connections in everything, and how things that don't seem inherently related really are.

I started doing freelance illustration before I graduated high school. I've interned for printing, photography, and game design companies, have done visual work in store for retail companies, have worked in multiple management positions, and stumbled into health care and behavioral science.

In my "free" time I'm learning Japanese at セントルイス日本語教室 (StL JLS), working on various art projects, assisting with a couple local conventions, and being a geek.

"Jen and I have collaborated for several years on various artistic and creative projects, and she is without fail my first choice for a collaborator. Jen is first of all, an extremely talented and skilled artist, with a good eye for design and aesthetics. She is also an experienced multi-tasker -- what she considers her normal schedule would make lesser artists quail in fear."
- Caitlin Moriarity, Freelance Content Writer

"She is of course an honor's student and leads by doing and mentoring. She is visually, intellectually and intuitively perceptive and helpful. She carries the zeal and passion of the projects she chooses to see succeed. She is an uplifting person that most would be honored to call friend or colleague. I am among them."
- Daniel Fitzpatrick, Associate Dean, ITT Technical Institute, Earth City

"Jen Patton and I have worked on quite a few collaborations together and I must say that her attention to detail is amazing. I highly recommend Jen for any project (especially art related). You cannot ask for anyone better."
- Rocky Andreotti, Freelance Illustrator

"I have had the fortune and pleasure of having Jen assist me with various projects. Many of my best design concepts have been critiqued with her assistance before being put on display [...] There doesn't seem to be an area where she doesn't unselfishly give her very best effort while assisting fellow students. Her extensive understanding of multiple software programs [...] makes her an invaluable asset at ITT. Jen epitomizes the word teammate while her motivation, determination and ability to follow through blaze a trail for others to follow. I evaluate Jen as an asset in her current position and would hope to see her advance further..."
- D. Michael Fears, Honor Student, ITT Technical Institute; Owner, 2nd Chance Drafting and Design

“Jen and I have worked together on many projects. She is focused, detail oriented and can think outside the box. Working with her is always a pleasure due to her drive and professionalism.”
- Angela Grewe, Program Coordinator, STL BJD Con
